Giving an unusable Fireplace a Brand-New Purpose!

Not every fireplace is suitable for burning wood, but that doesn't mean you have to give up on enjoying a beautiful, warm fire!

For this project, we took a non-functional prefabricated fireplace and brought it back to life with a Valor Retrofire Gas Insert.

The Valor Retrofire is an excellent, economical gas direct-vent option for homeowners with prefabricated fireplaces that are no longer recommended for wood-burning use. Rather than leaving the fireplace unused, the Retrofire provides an opportunity to enjoy the warmth, ambiance, and convenience of a gas fire without having to undertake a complete fireplace replacement.
